Ryanair plans to offer US flights by 2019 and will lure passengers with very cheap prices, says chief executive Michael O'Leary.
However, new aircraft are currently too expensive and out of stock due to heavy orders by Gulf airlines such as Emirates.
Tickets could be sold for €10, excluding extra costs for luggage, food and entertainment, said Mr O'Leary, who insisted that the offer was not a marketing stunt to grab public attention.
Meanwhile, Mr O'Leary, in an interview with the ‘Mail on Sunday’, said that parts of Ryanair's service need to be addressed after 20 years of very fast growth.
