Earlier this month, watchful eyes may have noticed a different-looking aircraft at Col. James Jabara Airport.
A HondaJet was in town, though the exact reason for its visit to the Air Capital isn’t known.
The company has been unable to detail why the plane was here, despite multiple inquiries since our photographer, Kellen Jenkins, and I spotted it at the airport about two weeks ago.
The company displayed one on Friday somewhat more prominently in the skies above Greensboro, N.C., where the first production unit of the HondaJet flew for the first time.
The new light jet, which features an over-the-wing engine mount design, is slated to enter service sometime next year.
