An unidentified body was discovered on the runway at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta Airport on Wednesday, interrupting operations for 40 minutes, Kenya Airports Authority said.
The body was male and was believed to belong to a boy aged between 10 and 12.
Police believe he was a stowaway, KAA said.
The incident did not disrupt air traffic, except for a Turkish Airlines aircraft being held up in the air for a few minutes.
A police investigation was under way.
