Qatar Airways Launching A380 London Heathrow Services In June

Qatar Airways has confirmed it will start A380 services between Doha’s new Hamad International Airport (HIA) and London Heathrow from June 17.
The new three-class aircraft (operating QR003/QR004 on the route) will be followed by two more A380s this summer, and it has 13 on order.
The first class A380 seat features a 90-inch seat pitch and transforms into a fully flat bed, and passengers can watch movies on 26-inch TV screens.
HIA, which will initially open to budget carriers next week, will have six contact gates designed specifically for the superjumbo. All airlines are due to switch from the existing airport by May 27.
